Elevate your impact on nutrition security with the Healthy Food Access Pantry Training Program, a 6-month virtual training series beginning in July 2026.
This interactive program meets monthly for 1-hour sessions and is designed to support both large and small food pantries with practical tools and strategies to strengthen community food access.
Topics include:
Understanding community food needs
Expanding donation sources
Using the Supporting Wellness at Pantries (SWAP) model
Strengthening food safety practices
Encouraging healthier choices through nudges and bundling strategies
Participation is open to pantry teams, including volunteers, community partners, Extension agents, and local health department staff. It is preferred that at least one team member attends each session to support continuity and implementation.
Applications for the July 2026 cohort close May 31 or when slots are filled.
