Gardening for Pollinators

  • Davidson County Center- Cooperative Extension 301 East Center Street Lexington, NC, 27292 United States (map)

The honey bee gets all the press, but there are hundreds of native bees, moths, beetles, wasps, bats, and butterflies that also feed on pollen and nectar and pollinate our crop plants. A lot of these creatures are in trouble. Learn how to grow a garden that is beautiful and also encourages pollinator visits. We will discuss native plants for pollinators, how to prepare a garden, and how to maintain it throughout the year.

Class is free, but registration is required. Limited space.
